In 1919, Lucien Bisson started Bisson Moving & Storage Company in Bath, Maine with a horse named Dan and a flatbed wagon called a “jigger.” In 1921, he bought his first gas-powered truck.
Over the past 100 years, that single hand-crank truck has grown into a fleet of 100 trucks and multiple warehouses. At our headquarters in Westbrook, you will find our management team, moving consultants and coordinators, drivers, movers, commercial installers, warehouse associates, mechanics, and document security technicians.
Westbrook is also home to our rapidly expanding Freight Division and heated warehouse storage.
