“On behalf of the Friends of Patten Free Library, I want to express our heartfelt thanks for your generous donation of a Bisson truck and men to transport over 300 cartons of leftover books from our Heritage Days book sale from Bath to Goodwill in Topsham. You rescued ;us from a horrid situation. It was getting the leftovers to Goodwill or, unthinkably, to the trash.
The books are able to be recycled several times from donations to our book sale, now to Goodwill, then into our hands, promoting literacy and education for many. Money from our sale goes toward library programs and needed equipment.
Peyton, Nick, and a third young man who came toward the end of loading, were all friendly, courteous and definitely knew what they were doing. Amanda, here in the West Bath office, was very helpful and pleasant to talk with.
We have posted a sign in our library giving credit and thanks for Bisson’s generosity. Thank you again.”
