While changing your address with the U.S. Postal Service is very important, the USPS will only ensure that mail is forwarded from your old address to your new address for up to one year after you move (and only 60 days for newspapers and periodicals). While this can be a handy way to cut down on junk mail…there are many things you will want – and need – to receive in the mail at your new home.
