I am drafting this letter for the purpose of recommending highly Brian Hughes and his team at Bisson Moving and Storage. Our law firm, Norman Hanson & DeTroy, LLC, moved our office from a location where we had been for thirty-five years to new office space over the weekend of September 6-9, 2013. It was our goal to close the office at noon on Friday and reopen for business on Monday morning. With approximately one hundred employees, including forty-two lawyers with many complex files, we understandably had anxiety about the ability to move in a seamless fashion. We were especially concerned about being able to show up on Monday morning with files where they were supposed to be, accessible and available for work.
The move was, in fact, seamless and was a tremendous success. We anticipated that Bisson would be through with its work by the end of the day on Saturday and they completed 95% on Friday. Our people were able to come in on Saturday afternoon for a couple of hours and unpack their individual desks and we successfully went straight to work on Monday morning.
As effective as the move was, I was equally impressed with the assistance that
Brian Hughes gave us in the meetings with attorneys and staff to explain the move process and to prepare us for packing and organizing ourselves so that the move could be effective. The methodology was straight forward and understandable and it was executed flawlessly.
In addition to this, the actual movers were very professional, friendly, polite, and accommodating. I do not recall anything that was damaged or placed in a spot where it should not have been.
Moving is a stressful process. The Bisson team helped us to approach it in a logical fashion and they explained and created expectations that were fulfilled on a move day. We were very pleased with their performance; I personally recommend Bisson Moving & Storage highly and would definitely use them again.”
